The Lost Year
2019-2021, Digital print, 8"x8"
This project covers my experiences, emotions, and challenges from the time preceding 2020 to just after. These emotions are portrayed through the abstraction of clouds, use of double exposure, and color. The images are named by time, randomly associated to represent the loss of time's significance throughout the year. Coupled with the aforementioned techniques, I hope to instill a sense of disorientation and lack of context while viewing this work.
